Hi everybody,
Last week I was in Paris, attending the opening of the fabulous new Massimo Dutti store at 18, Rue de la Paix. Whilst there, I had the pleasure of meeting up with well-known bloggers Miguel Carrizo and Berta Bernard, as well as my good friend photographer Gonzalo Machado. During my visit to Paris I stayed at L’Hôtel du Collectionneur nex to the Arc de Triomphe, a beautiful hotel in an enchanting part of one of the most wonderful cities in the world!
The store is amazing, it has two impressive video walls where they display a whole array of images from the Massimo Dutti campaigns – very cool. They have also created an area where customers can check the website and buy from the online store when the product you are looking for is not available in that moment in the shop. Such a great idea and so useful for not missing out on your favourite purchases!
On their website you can not only buy from home, but you also have access to a lot more great stuff, including their latest campaigns, the magazine experience and all the monthly Massimo Dutti lookbooks. I always like to take a look at the latest news and their publications to see what’s going on with the brand. You can also access their apps for iPad and iPhone, and now their website fits to any device, so noone misses out.
The catering for the opening party was served by Albert Adriá, and it was truly delicious and unique menu: edible orchids, sea cucumbers and little octopus, mini payoyo cheese puffs and more… all of it simply scrumptious!
The truth is that it was a very short visit to Paris but I’m delighted to have shared the special event with the Massimo Dutti team and they were great hosts! I hope you like the photos and, if you have the opportunity to visit Paris or live there, do not hesitate to go to the new store Massimo Dutti, a super shopping experience.
